Business Development Workshops
GALVESTON, TX – The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Galveston Daily News and Galveston County Small Business Development Center, will present a series of business development workshops February 24, March 22, and April 26, at the Chamber offices, 2228 Mechanic, Suite 101. All interested business owners are encouraged to attend.
Led by the SBDC, the February 24 workshop, titled “Taking your Business to the Next Level – Creating a Growth Business”, will begin at 9 am – 11 am. This workshop is especially important for small businesses who are striving for controlled and well planned expansion of their companies outreach and bottom line.
March 22, 9 am – 11 am, the workshop will present “Finance is the Language of your Business – Let’s Talk Numbers”. Attendees will understand the importance of a well designed business plan and how it relates to company stability.
April 26, 9 am – 11 am, “All About Marketing – Creating a Strategic Marketing Plan” will focus on the value of a solid marketing plan in a volatile market and how it can push you ahead of the competition toward a positive cash flow and sound bottom line.
The workshop series will be led by Carolann Peters, Business Advisor with the Galveston County Small Business Development Center, who holds a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship and consulting.
The workshops, limited to 25 attendees, will be held at the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2228 Mechanic, Suite 101.
